Tags in Zoho CRM serve as unique identifiers or keywords, helping users organize their records effortlessly. By adding tags to records, users can easily classify and group their records based on various attributes such as status, priority, or characteristics. This functionality is especially powerful on mobile, allowing users to manage your records from anywhere.
Imagine you run a real estate business and deal with a lot of leads. Without sorting these leads properly, you might miss out on important ones. However, with tags, you can label leads showing strong interest as "Priority Leads" or "Follow-up Required" for those needing more attention. This helps you focus on important potential clients and give them the attention they need, even when you're away from your desk.
Tags can be applied to all records across any module in Zoho CRM, including the activities module. However, the number of tags you can add depends on your CRM edition.
