Zylker Camps aims to streamline its registration and notification process. When a parent registers their child for a camp event, an automatic confirmation email needs to be sent to the parent and directly notify the specific camp leader overseeing that camp event.
Watch a quick video to understand how this scenario can be configured using Form Rules.
Let's see how Zylker Camps achieved this.
Form Building
Zylker created a registration form with fields for name and age of the camper, name and contact details of the parent/guardian, and camp preferences.
Rule Creation
- After building the form, navigate to the Rules tab.
- Under Form Rules, click Configure Now.
Consider a cultural camp example
Rule 1: Send Confirmation Email to Parent
Condition: Camp type is Cultural Camp
Rule 2: Notify the Cultural Camp Leader
Condition: Camp type is Cultural Camp
Zylker Camps has created similar rules for each of their other camp type to ensure comprehensive automation.
How this works
- A parent accesses and fills out the Zylker Camp registration form.
- Upon selecting the "Cultural Camp" from the Camp Type dropdown, and submitting the form:
- Rule 1 automatically sends an email confirmation directly to the parent/guardian's provided email address, assuring them that their child's enrollment has been successfully processed.
- Rule 2 simultaneously sends an email notification directly to the cultural camp leader, informing them of the new enrollment and providing relevant details.
By implementing these form rules, Zylker Camps has fully automated their post-registration communication, ensuring effective notification to relevant staff and parent, enhancing the overall registration process.
