The Summary Panel in Zoho IOT presents essential information of a managed entity (
device,
asset, or
location) in a crisp and user-friendly format. Placed in the left pane of the screen of any managed entity view, the panel comprises three sections that can be customized to display the desired information.
Summary panels are applied at model level, such that the summary panel of a device, asset, or location belonging to the same model will be of similar format. For example, in an IIoT setup, if you have a Chiller model and configured a summary panel for this model, all the assets of Chiller type will have the same summary panel format with the values pertaining to that particular asset(Chiller).
Note: The
Summary Card widget in dashboards helps to configure widgets to display information as configured in the summary panel.
Summary Panel Sections
The Summary Panel is made up of three sections.
Section 1: This is the fixed Status section. Instance Name, Instance Image, Model detail, Status, and Connection Status are displayed in this section of the summary panel. This section cannot be modified.
Section 2: This is the Related Summary section. The managed entity's specific related lists and datapoint values are displayed in this section.
Section 3: This is the Fields section. Values for any fields of the managed entity are displayed in this section. The corresponding information page can be displayed on clicking on any value. And also, the values of the fields can be modified by clicking on the Edit icon next to it from the panel itself.
Note: A combined total of 10 entries(section 2 and section 3) can be configured.
