Why should I set criteria in business rules?

Setting criteria   allows you to filter cards based on a condition and execute instant or scheduled actions based on that criteria.  For example, when a card is not assigned to any one , the card should automatically be assigned to the requestor's line manager.

To make this happen , you can create criteria as shown below.




You can then execute an action, i.e., update the assignee field to the ' Requestor's line manager', based on this criteria . Note that the execution depends on the Execute when option in the Rule Details section.
