You can set up the integration in just a few steps using Zoho's built-in integration.
Go to Setup > Marketplace > Zoho in Zoho Recruit, connect your Zoho CRM account, and select the data you want to sync, such as candidates, job openings, clients, and contacts.

3. What data gets synced between Zoho Recruit and Zoho CRM?
With this sync, your hiring and sales teams stay in perfect sync — no manual updates needed! Here’s how it works:
- Candidates (Zoho Recruit) → Leads (Zoho CRM)
Add a candidate in Recruit, and they instantly become a lead in the CRM, ready for follow-up.
- Job Openings (Zoho Recruit) → Opportunities (Zoho CRM)
Post a job in Recruit, and it appears as a potential deal in CRM.
- Clients (Zoho Recruit) → Accounts (Zoho CRM)
When you add a client in Recruit, it automatically becomes an account in CRM.
- Contacts (Zoho Recruit) → Contacts (Zoho CRM)
When you update a contact in Zoho Recruit, it automatically shows up in Zoho CRM

Absolutely! You can sync historical data by setting up the integration and then manually triggering a sync for existing records. This can be done from Zoho Recruit after setting up the sync.
5. Is it possible to sync custom fields between Zoho Recruit and Zoho CRM?
Yes. If you've added custom fields in Zoho Recruit or Zoho CRM, you can sync them so the information stays the same in both platforms. This way, any special details you’ve added won’t get lost, and will always be up to date.
To do this, navigate to Setup > Marketplace > Zoho in Zoho Recruit, connect your Zoho CRM account, and select the data you want to sync. Click on the settings icon to access the field mapping options.
Here, you can map the fields by selecting the relevant custom field from the dropdown menu.
6. Can I sync data from a custom module between Zoho CRM and Zoho Recruit?
No, currently we don't support syncing custom modules.
7. How can I ensure that my Zoho Recruit and Zoho CRM sync is secure?
Zoho keeps your data safe by encrypting everything that gets synced between Recruit and CRM. To add an extra layer of security, make sure only the right people have access by setting up proper roles and permissions in both platforms.
8. If a field in Zoho Recruit is updated but the same field in Zoho CRM isn’t. Why?
It’s likely due to the sync settings. Zoho Recruit offers two types of sync with your CRM account, namely:
- 1-way Sync
Your CRM account will serve as the primary database, and any changes made there will be synced with Zoho Recruit.

- 2-way Sync
Your data will be kept in-sync between Zoho CRM and Zoho Recruit, and any changes made in either account will be synced with the other.

Check your sync settings in the setup menu and review the logs to see if the sync is working properly.
