Schedule Report

How does the Schedule Report module work?

Using this module, you can automate the process of receiving the list of prospective visitors visiting your website by email. You can generate a report in the .xlsx or CSV format and send it to your operators and to your sales team via email at a regular frequency. 
NoteThe schedule option is available only to administrators

Benefits of Schedule Report:

  1. Scheduling reports can help you keep track of all the customers who visited your website during a specific time period. This can be extremely useful when your support/sales team wants to do follow-ups.

Schedule a report from the Visitor History module

  1. In the SalesIQ dashboard, navigate to People > Contacts  and click on the Settings icon. Then, click Schedule

  1. The Schedule a Report window will open.
  2. Choose a visitor history list - All Visitors, Returning Visitors, Today's Visitors, Cold Visitors or New Visitors.

  1. Choose the attachment type - .xlsx or .csv.  Each file attached to the email can accommodate the details of up to 1000 visitors.

  1. Then, set the time at which you want to schedule the report.
    1. Every Day: Send the website visitors list once every 24 hours at the mentioned time.
    2. Every Week: Send the website visitors list once every seven days at the specified day and time.
    3. Every Month: Send the website visitors list once every 30 days at the specified day and time.

  1. Choose the list of recipients ou want to send the reports to. The subject will carry the name of the visitor list by default.

  1. Then enter the message that you want to sent. The description area has default text that you can edit according to the list.

  1. Since the email that you send will be password protected, you will be asked to enter a password.

  1. Once this is done, click Schedule and your report will be scheduled at the chosen date and time.
Note:
The 24 hours is calculated based on the time that was set for sending the report. Ex: If 4.00 PM selected on the time picker, then the website visitor list from the previous day's 4.00 PM to the current day's 4.00 pm will be gathered and sent.

View and edit scheduled reports

  1. In Settings -> Automate -> Schedule Reports , you can find the tasks scheduled from the visitor history tab.

  1. Here, you can view/edit the frequency and email address of the recipient(s). You can also enable/disable and delete schedules.

Schedule reports manually

  1. Click on the Add button.

  1. The Schedule a Report window will open.
  2. Now choose a module that you want to send as report. You can either choose the visitors or contact module

  1. Choose a visitor history list - All Visitors, Returning Visitors, Today's Visitors, Cold Visitors or New Visitors.

What information will you receive on email?

You will receive the list of visitors visiting your websites in an . xlsx or . csv file format, which will include all visitor details available in the visitor history module - like Name/Visitor ID, email, contact, etc.
