Create and edit an event

What is Event in Solo? 
Events can be an appointment with partners, customer meetings, and so on, while reminders can be scheduled for the events to make sure they are never missed.
 
Note: Events can be created within contacts.
 

To create an event on iOS: 

  1. Open the contact for which you need to create an event, either from the contact module or from the contacts in the home-screen dashboard.
  2. Click Add at the bottom-left corner and click Create Event.

 

To create an event on Android: 

  1. Open the contact for which you need to create an event, either from the Contact module or from the contacts in the home-screen dashboard.
  2. Click + at the bottom-right corner and click Create Event.

 

Event info: 

  1. Provide a name to the event in the Event Title field.
  2. If the event is supposed to happen for the entire day, turn on the All day option or select a specific time for the event from the calendar.
  3. Turn on Notification if you need to be reminded about the event. You can also set custom notification, where you can set a specific time for the reminder.
  4. Add the Location of the event.
  5. Enter any information regarding the event in the Notes field. Events are created within a contact, so they are automatically assigned to the contact, which can not be edited.
  6. Once all fields are entered, click Done.
The event created will be shown in the contact info and will also be listed under the date for which the event is created on the home-screen dashboard.

Edit an Event 

You can edit an event by opening it from the contact or from the home-screen dashboard. You will be able to edit all the fields in an event except for the associated contact.
