The 'Find and Include Records' feature allows you to dynamically insert data from your table into email or message content.
If you're a sales manager wanting to send detailed reports of successful deliveries on a monthly basis to your management team, you can automate this process easily by including specific records in your messages.
How to include records in messages:
Choose ‘Send Email’ or ‘Send Zoho Cliq Message’ as the action to notify your management.
In the message body, click where you want to insert the records (for example, after a brief introduction or summary).
Click the plus (+) icon on the right side of the message box.
From the dropdown menu, choose Find and Include Records.
In the right panel, choose the Orders table that contains delivery data.
Add filters to include only the deliveries relevant for the report, such as:
Status = Delivered
Delivery Date within the past month
You can also copy conditions from any existing view for consistency.
Choose the fields that you want to show in the message, like Order ID, Customer Name, Delivery Date, Delivery Status, Amount
Close the panel once you’re done. The chosen records and fields will now appear in the message content as a neat table.
