How do I open or view Microsoft Word documents like .doc or .docx within Trident?
Opening and viewing Word documents within the Trident desktop app is not supported. However, these documents can be opened in other installed system apps.
Method 1:
Click the file to open it in the Attachment Viewer.
Click the Download button located beneath the file icon.
Once the download is complete, select Open With Other Apps to choose your preferred application.
Method 2:
Click the file to open it in the Attachment Viewer.
In the viewer, click the Download icon or the Download button below the file icon.
When the download completes, click Open in the toast message that appears in the bottom-left corner of the app.
Method 3:
Download the file to your computer.
Open File Explorer and navigate to the Downloads folder.
Right-click the file and select Open with to choose a different application.
