The Zoho WorkDrive add-in for Microsoft Outlook helps you save time and boost productivity by sharing WorkDrive files and saving attachments from your inbox to WorkDrive—right from within the Outlook app.
Prerequisites
Outlook account:
Microsoft Office 365 and personal account users can install and use this add-in.
Note: Currently, Outlook accounts on Microsoft Exchange are not supported.
WorkDrive account:
Available for all users (including client users)
Desktop apps: Windows OS (Microsoft Office 365, Outlook 2019 or later), Mac OS (Outlook on Mac)
Note: Currently, Zoho WorkDrive add-in for Microsoft Outlook is not supported in the Outlook mobile applications.
Installing the Zoho WorkDrive for Outlook add-in
The WorkDrive add-in for MS Outlook can be installed in either of the following ways:
i) Install directly from MS Outlook
- Visit outlook.live.com and sign into your Outlook account.
- Select any email and click on the Apps icon located at the top of your email. This will open the pop-up window where all your installed add-ins will be listed.

- Click Get add-ins at the bottom of the pop-up window to install the Zoho WorkDrive for Email add-in.

- In the search bar, type Zoho WorkDrive for Email and click Add.
- Read and accept the privacy policy and license terms.
The add-in will now be added to your mailbox and ready for use. You may choose to keep it pinned to the top of your emails for easier access.
ii) Install from Microsoft Appsource
- Visit appsource.microsoft.com and sign into your Microsoft account.
- In the search bar, type Zoho WorkDrive for Email and click Search.

- In the search results, locate Zoho WorkDrive for Email and click the Get it now button.
The add-in will now be added to your mailbox and ready for use. You may choose to keep it pinned to the top of your emails for easier access.
To pin the Zoho WorkDrive for Outlook add-in
- Click the Settings icon at the top of the Outlook window and select View all Outlook settings from the bottom of the collapsible window. The Layout tab will appear by default.
- Select the Customize actions option from the left pane and click the Zoho WorkDrive for Email add-in checkbox. This will pin the WorkDrive add-in to the top of your email window for easier access.
Uninstalling the Zoho WorkDrive for Outlook add-in
- Visit outlook.live.com and sign into your Outlook account.
- Select any email and click on the Apps icon located at the top of your email. This will open the pop-up window where all your installed add-ins will be listed.
- Click Get add-ins at the bottom of the pop-up window to open the Add-Ins for Outlook window.
- Select My add-ins from the left pane and locate Zoho WorkDrive for Email in the list.

- Click the Manage Add-in (...) icon in the app tile and select Remove from the drop-down.
The WorkDrive add-in will now be removed from your mailbox.
For Outlook older version

- Visit outlook.live.com and sign into your Outlook account.
- Select any email and click the Get add-ins icon at the top of your email. You will be redirected to the list of Add-Ins for Outlook.
Alternatively, click the More actions (...) icon at the top of the email and select Get Add-ins from the drop-down list.
- In the search bar, type Zoho WorkDrive for Email and click Add.
- Read and accept the privacy policy and license terms.
The add-in will now be added to your mailbox and ready for use. You may choose to keep it pinned to the top of your emails for easier access.
ii) Install from Microsoft Appsource
- Visit appsource.microsoft.com and sign into your Microsoft account.
- In the search bar, type Zoho WorkDrive for Email and click Search.
- In the search results, locate Zoho WorkDrive for Email and click the Get it now button.
