Status icons in the WorkDrive TrueSync folder show the sync status of all your files and folders: whether they are fully synced, being synced, or not synced.
To open the TrueSync folder:

You can check here whether the status icons are working or not. There are some cases when the status icons will not appear over files and folders in the TrueSync folder. Let's see how to fix theses issues.
Status icons disabled in app preferences
The status icons will not appear on files and folders if they have been disabled in the sync app preferences.
To turn on status icons:
1. Click the WorkDrive icon in the system tray or menu bar. A screen will open. 2. Click the Settings icon and select Preferences. 3. By default, the General menu will be selected. Check Show status icons in the sync folder.
4. Click Apply. (This step is only required for Windows OS.)
OS-Specific Restrictions
Windows
If status icons do not appear in the WorkDrive TrueSync folder, try the following:
Restart Windows Explorer (for Windows 8 and above)
1. Click the Start menu.
2. Search for "Task Manager", then press Enter.
The Task Manager window will open. You can also open this window by pressing Control-Shift-Escape.
3. Click Windows Explorer under Apps.
4. Click Restart at the bottom.
Update the Windows Registry
Windows Explorer can only load 11 status icons from the apps installed on your system. The status icons for WorkDrive must be in the top 11 in order to be loaded by Windows Explorer in the sync folder.
The status icons are arranged in alphabetical order. You can check in the Windows Registry whether the WorkDrive status icons are on top of the list. If the WorkDrive status icons are not in the top 11, you can rearrange the order to bring them to the top.
Steps to update Windows Registry:
1. Press the Windows key + R and enter "regedit".
2. Navigate to this path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ShellIconOverlayIdentifiers
3. Right-click the ZTrueSync overlay icon key and rename it to move it to the top by adding spaces in front of the name.
Alternatively, you can delete the overlay icon keys for other apps to move the WorkDrive icon keys to the top. Only do this if you are certain it won't cause issues in other apps.
Open the WorkDrive TrueSync folder, and the status icons should appear over the files and folders.
