What are the various components of Writer's advanced automation builder
Overview
- Canvas: The pane where you can drag and drop the various elements to build your workflows.
- Cards: These are the action points where operations are performed. Based on the operation that they perform, the cards are of differnt types, such as:
- Trigger cards: These cards kick off the entire automation workflow whenever an action such as a form submission or a CRM record update, or on-demand, manually.
- Process cards: These cards allows you to configure rules based on which the data has to be evaluated and processed, to meet your organization's business workflows.
- Filter cards: These cards enable you to set up conditions to filter the data and forward them for further processing.
- Route cards: These cards make it possible to pass the entire data or a specific set of data through multiple operation points. At each point only the data that matches the rules configured in that point is processed.
- Action cards: These cars allow you to perform the desired operations, such as generating documents, combining documents, sending emails, storing files, or notifying users.
- Connectors: These lines connect the various elements of the automation workflow, and specify the direction or steps through which the data must be processed.
