When you insert an image behind text (i.e. with a “behind text” wrap or layering) in Zoho Writer, it becomes non-selectable by direct clicks in many cases. This guide shows you how to reselect and move such an image, even when it's layered behind text. This is useful when you want to adjust positioning after adding text overlays or design layouts.
Locate the paragraph linked to the image
The image is usually anchored to a particular paragraph or block of text.
Triple-click that paragraph
Perform a triple click on that paragraph (i.e. click three times rapidly). This should select the paragraph and also bring the image into focus.
Select the image
Once the paragraph is selected, you’ll see a bounding box or indicator that allows you to pick the image. Click on the image element itself (inside that selected area).
Drag the image to move it
After selecting the image, you can drag it to your desired position on the page.
Adjust as needed
Fine-tune the image placement (e.g. nudging using arrow keys) or modify its wrap / layering settings once it’s selected.
