Available in Enterprise edition and in all data centres. Will be enabled in your account on request
As document workflows grow more intricate—with multiple signers, templates, integrations, and automations—even minor changes can affect critical business processes. Testing changes directly in a live Zoho Sign account can waste valuable time, credits, and resources—and cause disruptions to signing workflows that growing organizations simply can’t afford. That’s where Sandbox comes in.
What is Sandbox in Zoho Sign, and why do you need it?
Sandbox in Zoho Sign is a secure, isolated environment that allows you to test, experiment, and fine-tune your digital signature workflows without affecting your live account. It mirrors your production setup, allowing you to safely validate configurations, integrations, and document workflows in real-world scenarios.
With Sandbox in Zoho Sign, you can:
- Test new templates, API workflows, integrations and field placements.
- Try out features and integrations that might consume credits in live account.
- Identify and fix errors before they reach your live signing processes.
- Once everything works as expected, you can confidently make changes in your production Zoho Sign account.

- A Sandbox environment can be used for testing for a maximum period of two months. Please contact support@zohosign.com if an extension is required.
- A user can store up to 100 documents at any given time in the system. This includes documents in the Trash.
