Modes:

Modes in Zoho TouchPoint are the first points of contact that a mobile comes in contact with.
There can be three ways by which one device can interact with a mode, either by tap, by click or by scan.
NFC Card - tap
Digital card - scan
Email signature - click
Dynamic QR code - scan
Types of modes:
NFC Card - If your mobile is enabled with NFC (near field communication) technology then tapping an NFC card against the mobile will lead to seamless transfer of contact information and other necessary details from the card to your mobile.
Digital card - Digital cards are the virtual counterparts of physical PVC cards containing important information. Digital wallet in your mobile enables the storage of such digital cards for hyper portability and dissemination of information.
Email signature - Email signatures are constitute the most important section of an email, the footer. This section of an email ensures transparency along with important brand information such as contact details. Clicking on relevant links here will take you to the desired webpage.
Dynamic QR code - A dynamic QR code offers more flexibility by allowing you to change the associated destination over time without any iteration to the code. You can also have more granular perspective on the scans made
Destinations:
Destinations are the information that you associate with modes, these are the preferred landing pages that you want your contacts or clients to go to after interacting with the modes either via tap or scan.
Destinations reflect your objective; they signify the goals that you want your contacts to achieve. Every destination has a pre-determined objective, be it visiting a desired website, filling up a form, or saving a business card, all of that can be achieved with the help of destinations.
Types of destinations:
There are eight different types of destinations:
Website URL - A website URL destination page enables you to set any web page of your choice to be the desired landing page of your TouchPoint. Just add the link and you are all set. Add a source tracker to your link in case you need to analyse the traffic from the TouchPoint.
vCard - vCard or virtual card, is a digital version of your physical business card. You can set up this destination if you want your customers to save your contact information in their phones instantly. They can then add you to their phone by clicking on 'Create new contact'.
Profile -  'Profile' destination page enables you to share more information about you or your brand, with multiple links and media files, when someone interacts with your TouchPoint. Profile pages also come with two CTA buttons - 'Save Contact' and 'Exchange Contact'. Save Contact button acts like a vCard which saves your contact in the users phone. Exchange Contact button opens a short personal details form which your users can fill, so you can collect their data. This data will be stored in your Zoho TouchPoint account and can be pushed to CRM
Link-in bio Page - A link-in bio page is a clickable hyperlink, generally placed in the biography section of a social media account. This destination page enables you to design a landing page with multiple links stacked together. A 'Link-in-bio' page is helpful when you want to give a choice to your users to select a particular webpage from the list of webpages.Appointment form - An appointment form is a web-based form via which your contacts can book your appointment or anyone associated with your brand. Your contacts will also have the option to save the appointment in a personal calendar.
Lead magnet form - A lead magnet form is a web-based form consisting of several fields. Every field in this form requires the contact/lead to provide a certain type of information, which will enable the brand to know the contact better and help in providing customized experiences.
Survey form - A survey form is a web-based form that contains fields associated with a specific survey conducted by the brand. Surveys also help brands stay updated with regards to the preferences of the contacts/leads.
App download - App download is a destination where you can ask your contacts to download an application of your choice. You can share the URLs of all app download pages like App store, Play store, Amazon store etc. while creating the destination page, and the users, who interact with the touchpoint, will be sent to the relevant app download page depending on their device OS. For instance, if the user uses an iPhone to interact with your touchpoint, they will be taken to Apple App Store, and so on.
Instant message - With the instant message destination, you can let the contact tap, scan, or click on your TouchPoint and open to the text message interface in the contact's mobile with a verified phone number of your choice , and a pre-filled message. The contact only needs to click on the 'send' button and you will receive the text in the mobile number you've mentioned.
Instant email - With the instant email destination, you can let the contact tap, scan or click on your TouchPoint and open the 'compose email' interface of the primary email platform in the contact's mobile with a verified email address of your choice (say, your customer care email for example), and a pre-filled message. The contact only needs to click on send button and you will receive the email in the configured mailbox. You may integrate with Zoho Desk to convert incoming emails into support tickets.
