Configure SAML in Zoho One/Directory

If you're a Zoho One user:

1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click Directory in the left menu.
   
2. Go to Marketplace, then click Browse Applications.
   
3. Use the search bar to find and install Sumo Logic.
   

  

If you're a Zoho Directory user:

1. Sign in to Zoho Directory, then click Admin Panel in the left menu.
   
2. Go to Applications, then click Add Application.
   
3. Use the search bar to find and add Sumo Logic.
   
   
4. Name your app and enter the Deployment Name and Your Company Name.
   
   

   Your Deployment Name is the second part of your Sumo Logic URL. If your URL is "service.jp.sumologic.com", your Deployment Name is "jp".
5. Click Add.
   
6. Click on the Single Sign-On tab.
   
7. Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them, if needed.
   
8. Click Identity Provider Details, then copy the Issuer and the X.509 Certificate.
   
   

Configure SAML in Sumo Logic

1. Sign in to your Sumo Logic account.
   
2. Click Administration in the sidebar, then click Security.
   
3. Click SAML, then click Add Configuration.
   
4. Enter "Zoho One" in the Configuration Name field.
   
5. Paste the previously-copied Issuer and the X.509 Certificate in their respective fields.
   
6. Choose Use SAML Subject under Attribute Mapping.
   
7. Click Save.

Just-in-time provisioning

To enable JIT provisioning:

1. Sign in to your Sumo Logic account.
   
2. Click Administration in the sidebar, then click Security.
   
3. Click SAML, then click the Zoho One configuration.
   
4. Check On Demand Provisioning.
   
5. Enter "firstName" in the First Name field, and "lastName" in the Last Name field. 
   
6. Enter the Sumo Logic RBAC roles you want to assign when user accounts are provisioned in the On Demand Provisioning Roles field (The roles must exist in Sumo Logic).
   
7. Click Save.
   
8. Sign in to the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
   
9. Go to Applications, then click Sumo Logic.
   
10. Click Single Sign-On, then click Service Provider Details.
    
11. Under Attribute Mapping, enter the following details:
    
1. Enter "firstName" under Attribute Name, then select First Name under Attribute Value.
   
2. Click , enter "lastName" under Attribute Name, then select Last Name under Attribute Value.
   
12. Click Save.

Test the SAML connection

1. Return to the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
   
2. Go to Applications, then click Sumo Logic.
   
3. Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
   
4. Click the icon next to the app's name. If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to Sumo Logic's homepage.
   

Enforce SAML SSO

To restrict users to SSO:

1. Sign in to your Sumo Logic account.
   
2. Click Administration in the sidebar, then click Security.
   
3. Click SAML, then toggle Require SAML Sign In.
