Email Alerts with Affected Flow Details When Deprecating Modules in Zoho Creator

Dear Zoho Creator Team,

We would like to request an enhancement to the module deprecation process in Zoho Creator.

🧩 Current Limitation:

Currently, when a module is deprecated by the Creator team:

  • No email notifications are sent.

  • There is no automated way to track which flows, applications, or components are affected by this deprecation.

📬 Requested Enhancement:

Please introduce a feature that:

  1. Sends an automatic email alert to the zoho creator admin when a module is deprecated.

  2. Includes a list of:

    • All flows, pages, or functions that are using the deprecated module.

    • Names of affected apps and components.

  3. Clearly marks the deprecated status and suggests action or alternatives if available.

✅ Why This Matters:

Without proper notification:

  • Developers may unknowingly leave broken flows in production.

  • It’s difficult to react quickly and maintain business continuity.

  • Tracking affected components manually is inefficient and error-prone.

This enhancement will greatly improve maintainability, workflow reliability, and developer awareness when module changes are introduced.
