Suggestions for Deposts using Zoho Invoice
Hi there, Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can incorporate the collection of deposits using Zoho invoice? We are a language school and require a deposit of 30% to secure a place on our courses. However, when using Zoho invoice it only allows me to send an invoice/request payment for the full amount (cant change the amount in the check-out procedure). Anyone have any ideas for this? Is there a way to customize invoices to include additional fields to track sales related information? I would like to include a field to track the salesperson for each invoice. Also to be able to create a sales report by salesperson. This would be invaluable to be able to export the report to Zoho Sheet to calculate commissions, etc. Is this currently doable in Zoho Invoice? I use a slightly customised invoice template, but can't work out a way of giving an invoice a "job title" box that doesn't then generate a "0.00" currency value. Cloning or duplicating an invoice is an often requested feature. We really feel bad to keep saying that it is not currently support. Yes, this is definitely on the priority list and will be added shortly but till such time we suggest the following work around. Give this a try and let us know your comments. Typically the requirement here is to copy the entire content of the invoice apart from the customer information. Here is how you can do that 1. Dear customers, We are starting a Tips and Tricks series, wherein, we'll be sharing insights on how you can tap into each and every feature of Zoho Invoice. We are commencing this series by discussing how you can set up automated reminders in Zoho Invoice. Receiving payments is an important part of any business as it's one of the main sources of cash inflow. Each delayed payment means that you're working with money spend from your pocket. It is therefore crucial that you remind your customers toCapture Bank Charges for Invoice Payments.
We've added the Bank Charges field in the "Add Payments" page both in Zoho Invoice & Zoho Books. So all you need to do is to enter the bank charges when you record a payment for the invoices. This bank charge will be included to the amount paid for that invoice. Steps to add the bank charges while you record the payment: 1. Click the "Invoices" tab. 2. Click the 'add payment' link for the invoice that you wish to record the payment for. 3. On the add payment page, include the "BankFix for the issue related to the logo size
In our recent update, we made some enhancements to improve the quality of the logo in customized templates. As a result of this, the logos which do not match our preferred dimensions may not appear correctly in your invoices. All you need to do, to get things back to normal is to make the logo fit our preferred dimensions (580px X 250px with 300dpi) and re-upload it back again into Zoho Invoice.
