After you sign up for a Zoho account using an email address, you must verify that email address. This verification step completes your sign-up process and confirms your account. At Zoho, we need a verified email address to identify your account and for all major communications with you (including notifications, alerts, and announcements). After you signed up, we would have sent you a welcome email titled 'Welcome to Zoho' with a link to confirm your account. If you tried signing in without confirming your account through that link, you would be shown this screen. Note that an unconfirmed Zoho account will be suspended and subsequently deleted after 30 days. |

If you have reached your daily sign-in limit, you will not be allowed to sign in again for the rest of the day. This announcement will be shown for every sign-in attempt after the 14th one, to alert you of the potential block that could happen if you reach the daily limit. |

Concurrent sessions denote the number of sessions you are currently signed-in to. By default, a Zoho account can have only 50 concurrent sessions. If you are part of an organization, your admin can also increase or decrease this limit. If you reach the maximum concurrent sessions limit, you will not be able to sign in again unless you terminate all your sessions. Hence, we show this to alert you if there are too many concurrent sessions present for your account. |

While signing in, if you're unable to verify using multi-factor authentication (MFA) due to some issue, you can use a backup verification code to gain access to your account. These codes are meant to provide one-time access to your account so that you can reconfigure MFA and avoid facing the issue again. Learn more
Each code is usable only once and you can have only 5 valid backup codes at a time. Hence, it is recommended to save and keep enough backup codes so that you don't end up with none available and lose access to your account.
Hence, when you sign in using a backup code, we show this alert to remind you to generate new codes in case you've used up all your codes or lost access to them.
|
