Summary changes
Services has been changed to Event types.
Staff, which was used to denote all Bookings roles, has now been renamed as Users, while the staff role is retained as Staff.

- Workspace-centric view
Previously, you could view all workspaces in your Bookings account simultaneously. Now, we are shifting to a workspace-centric view. It means you can choose a workspace, and Bookings will show the appointments, event types, and booking pages that belong to the selected workspace. You (all users except the Staff role) can switch workspaces to view appointments of the respective workspaces. This allows you to organize and manage Bookings, segregated by departments or categories.

- Workspace settings removed
We had identical settings in both workspaces and services, which could have led to confusion about which one applies. To resolve this, we've removed the settings from the workspaces and will now have them solely under Services (i.e, Event Types).

- Settings categorized for better clarity
Service settings have been reorganized for simplicity. Settings that are applicable for booking pages have been moved to the Booking Pages module.
- Users can be assigned to workspaces
Users can be assigned to specific workspaces, which limits their access to only the data within those workspaces. They will not have visibility into other workspaces, ensuring a more controlled and secure environment.
Note: Admins and super admins can access all workspaces.

- Introducing a new role: Workspace Admin
We've introduced a new role called Workspace Admin. Users in this role act as admins for the workspaces to which they are assigned. They have full access and administrative control only to the assigned workspaces.

- Centralized Setup
All modules, integrations, organization settings, and product customizations are now grouped under Setup. This setup applies at the account level and is not specific to individual workspaces.

New features
One-time booking link
With the booking link you've shared before, your clients might book appointments without prior communication. To address this, you can now share a one-time booking link, which will expire after its first booking.
- Workflows
To automate tasks such as sending additional notifications (email and SMS) and executing custom functions during various stages of an appointment, you can create a workflow. This helps improve productivity by simplifying your operations.

- Revamped mobile app
The Bookings mobile app has been revamped with additional functionalities to make your scheduling even easier. You can view, add, reschedule, cancel appointments, share links, add special working hours and unavailability, and setup push notifications with our enhanced mobile app. Learn about the mobile app in detail here.
- Zoho Bigin Integration
You can now integrate your Bookings account with Bigin. This integration automatically creates a new contact in Bigin when an appointment is booked in Bookings. It also updates the existing contacts. Available slots are checked for conflicts in Bigin events, and this integration also allows you to add your appointments to Bigin events. Learn about this integration in detail here.
- Recurring One-on-One
We've introduced a new event type that allows you to schedule a series of recurring appointments at the same time. This is especially useful for booking regular one-on-one sessions. Learn about this feature in detail here.
Navigation guide
Once you switch to Bookings 2.0, you'll land in Appointments page. Just above the Appointments tab on the left, you can see your workspace name. This means you are currently viewing all of the data under that workspace.
You can click the workspace name and switch to the required workspace. Appointments, Event types (previously Services), Users (previously Staff), and Booking Pages belonging to the selected workspace can be viewed here.

Click Booking Pages to get all of the booking page links and access all of the settings related to the booking page.
Click the Setup icon in the top-right corner to access all other modules, settings, and integrations.

A user can be assigned to multiple workspaces by navigating to Users > Required Users > Assigned Workspaces.

Similarly, multiple users can be added to a workspace by navigating to Setup > Workspace > Users.
