Zoho Sign complies with the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) in the United States, the electronic IDentification, Authentication and Trust Services (eIDAS) regulation in the European Union, and the Information Technology Act of 2000 (ITA) in India, among others.
4. Are there any integrations with third-party eSignature providers in Zoho Contracts?
No, there are no integrations available with third-party eSignature providers in Zoho Contracts.
5. Is it possible to connect a Zoho Contracts account to multiple Zoho Sign accounts?
No, it is not possible to connect multiple Zoho Sign accounts with a single Zoho Contracts account. You can only connect your Zoho Contracts account with one Zoho Sign account at a time.
6. How can a contract owner send a contract for eSignature?
Once the negotiation is completed, the contract owner can send a contract for signature by adding the signer details, signing order, and then inserting the signature and other placeholder fields in the contract document. For more information, see Sending a Contract for Signature.

No, counterparty representatives do not need a Zoho account and Zoho Contracts license to participate in the signing process. They can sign contracts directly from links received through email.
14. How do signers receive notification for contract signing?
Once the contract owner sends the contract for signature, signers will receive an email notification with a link to sign in the order specified by the contract owner.
15. Is it possible to authenticate the signers in Zoho Contracts?

Yes, the Print and Physically Sign option is available in Zoho Contracts for sequential signing order that have only one signer in a level. This option allows the signer to print the document, physically sign it, and then upload the signed copy.
18. Is it possible to change the signer during the sign pending state?
Yes, it is possible to change the signer during the sign pending state. For more information, see Edit Signer Details.
19. Is it possible to delegate the signing process?
Yes. the signer can delegate the signing process to someone else by using the More Actions available in the Sign Window.
20. Is it possible to recall a signature?
Yes, it is possible to recall a signature in Zoho Contracts when the contract is in Sign Pending state. For more information, see Recall Signature.
21. What conditions cause a contract in the Sign Pending status to be automatically recalled?
A contract in Sign Pending status in Zoho Contracts will be auto-recalled for various reasons, such as the contract passes its effective date while still pending signature, the Zoho Sign account gets disconnected, the contract owner is deleted or deactivated from Zoho Sign and more. 22. Is it possible to extend the signature expiry date of a contract?
Yes, it is possible to extend the signature expiry date of a contract in Zoho Contracts. For more information, see Extend Signature Expiry.
23. Can a contract owner track the status of eSignatures?
The contract owner will be able to track the status of eSignatures using the Activity available in the Signature tab. For more information, see View Signature Activity.
24. Can the users view the signature history of the original and all its renewals/amendments in the same contract record?
Yes, the contract owner can view the signature history of the original contract and all its renewals or amendments in the same contract record. For more information, see View Previous Cycles.
25. When does the contract become active after the signing process in Zoho Contracts?
If the Contract Effective Date field's value is selected as On Execution, the contract becomes active when all signers have signed it. Alternatively, if a specific date is entered, the contract becomes active on that date after all signers have signed.
