To implement a widget-based approach for handling multiple Blueprints with different fields in a single record, here are the steps: Create separate modules (child modules) for each field involved in a Blueprint. Associate these modules with the parent module that has the main blueprint. Once the blueprints are configured in child modules, go to the widget configuration page. There, you can define the parent-child module relationship and choose the corresponding fields. The multi-Blueprint widget will then fetch and display the related records along with their respective Blueprint status.
Following modules are supported:
1.Leads
2.Deals
3.Contacts
4.Accounts
5.Tasks
6.Events
The multi-blueprint setup relies on three key types of modules in Zoho CRM: the Parent Module, Related Modules, and a Custom Configuration Module. Together, they allow multiple simulated workflows to operate in parallel within a single record context.
The Parent Module is the primary CRM module where the main record resides. For example, in a sales process, the Deals module is often the parent because it tracks the overall status of a business transaction.
This record serves as the anchor for related modules and is where users initiate or view the combined workflow statuses. While the Parent Module may have its own Blueprint, the goal of the multi-blueprint setup is to manage additional workflows connected to this record—such as documents, approvals, or contracts.
The Parent Module also holds configuration metadata, such as the Multi_Blueprints_Settings reference, and may include fields that reflect high-level statuses (e.g., Deal Stage, Contract Status).
For example:
Documents might have fields like Document_Status or Approval_Stage.
Contracts could have fields like Signed, Reviewed, or Verified.
Each of these modules can follow its own simulated Blueprint logic.
After installing the extension, in Zoho CRM go to Setup > Marketplace > All > Installed > CRM Attachment Downloader > Settings
All the fields in the above image is mandatory, Provide a Multi-Blueprint Name, Select a Parent Module and then Select and related list, finally select any two fields.
The + button will allow us to dynamically add more related list and fields.
After providing the valid data click the save button will be create a data in Multi-Blueprint module.
The Multi Blueprints Module will be created while installing the widget itself.
Each button will navigate to the respected module.
