Prerequisites

A verified domain in Atlassian
An Atlassian Access subscription

Configure SAML in Zoho One

Sign in to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
Go to Marketplace, then use the search bar to find and install Atlassian.
Name your app, enter your Domain Name, and enter "atlassian" under Unique ID.

Note: Your Domain Name is the first part of your Atlassian URL. If your URL is "zylker.atlassian.com", your Domain Name will be "zylker"

If you want to test the SAML configuration before allowing users to access Atlassian, uncheck Display app to users.
Click Add.
Click Manage Application, then Single Sign-On.
Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them, if needed.
Click Identity Provider Details, then make a note of the Issuer, the Sign-in URL, and the X.509 Certificate.

Configure SAML in Atlassian

Sign in to your Atlassian admin console.
Click Security in the sidebar, then click SAML single sign-on.
Click Add SAML configuration.
Enter the IdP Issuer in the Identity provider Entity ID field, the IdP Sign-in URL in the Identity provider SSO URL field, and the IdP X.509 Certificate in the Public x509 Certificate field.
Click Save configuration.
Under SP Entity ID, copy everything after " https://auth.atlassian.com/saml/ ".
Return to your Zoho One Admin Panel, go to Atlassian's Service Provider Details, then change the Unique ID from "atlassian" to the copied value.
Click Save.

Just-in-time provisioning

Just-in-time (JIT) provisioning creates a Atlassian account for users during their first SSO attempt, so you don't have to do it manually for each user.

To enable JIT provisioning:

Sign in to your Atlassian admin console.
Click Site access in the sidebar.
Select Anyone with one of the following email address domains can join under Who can join your site, then enter your domain. Users with email addresses belonging to this domain will be automatically provisioned an Atlassian account.
Click Save changes.

Test the SAML connection

Return to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
Go to Applications, then click Atlassian.
Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
Click . If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to Atlassian's homepage.

Make app visible to all users

After successfully testing the SSO, you can make Atlassian available for all users to access from their My Apps pages.

To make Atlassian visible to all users:

Sign in to the Zoho One Admin Panel.
Go to Applications, then click Atlassian.
Click Edit, check Display app to users, then click Update.
You can now access Atlassian from Zoho One's My Apps page.
