Suspending an active account
Zoho Marketing Automation maintains a strict policy of compliance with our terms of use and data protection laws. We will suspend the accounts of users who don't comply with the terms and regulations, as well as those who follow unhygienic email sending practices in spite of multiple requests and warnings from our side.
Here are a few additional reasons why we may suspend an account:
- Poor sender domain reputation
We carry out regular validation of all the attributes of a specific sender domain and its reputation with mailbox providers and anti-spam organizations. If a sender domain regularly faces anti-spam and deliverability issues, we will suspend the account.
- Promotion of restricted businesses
Our policies imply that users should not use our services to indulge in the promotion of businesses that are prohibited in our terms of use. If we find users continuing to do so, we will suspend their account.
- Spammy or malicious email content
Your email content can have a huge impact on your business and your campaign performance. If we find spammy/inappropriate phrases in your emails, we will suspend the account.
- Multiple anti-spam complaints
We have a tight integration with mailbox providers and anti-spam organizations. Whenever we receive complaints or negative feedback about an account from them, we will make sure that we take all necessary corrective measures or even suspend the account if needed.
To avoid account suspension in the future, we urge our users to follow healthy email sending practices and to comply with all our terms of use. If your account is suspended and you wish to reinstate it, you can write to us at support@zohomarketingautomation.com
