Images on your landing and product pages are the best way to attract more eyes to your website. With PageSense visual editor, you can quickly upload, resize, and edit your images on the variation page to convey your brand's message effectively to different audiences. For example, you could do this by uploading product images to your ecommerce page to entice users to purchase a product based on its appearance or by inserting your company logo in the header or footer section of your website pages. The editor also allows you to add alternative text that describes an image to improve SEO on online search engines.
To add a picture to a variation:
1. Select your A/B experiment and click the EDITOR tab at the top.
Your test page will open in the PageSense Visual Editor.
2. Hover over and click the area you want to add the picture to.
The action bar will appear on the page.
3. Click Insert then Insert image from the menu list.
4. You can do the following in the Image editor:
Click the upload icon to select a new image from your computer or specify the URL address if it's already available online in the URL box to access your image.
Add the alt text for your image to be shown to users when they hover over the image. This helps improve your SEO.
Enter the width and height for your image as a percentage or in pixels to resize the image to your desired dimensions.
Choose a position for the image from the alignment options: left, right, or default.
5. Click Apply.
To edit a picture in a variation:
1. Select your A/B experiment and click the EDITOR tab at the top.
2. Select the image to replace on the page, click Edit, and then Edit image from the menu list.
3. Click the Close icon in the Image editor to remove the existing image and upload your new image.
You can now resize, add alt text, and apply alignment changes to your images as required.
4. Click Apply to save the changes.
