Webhooks Overview
Webhooks
facilitate automated HTTP notifications. Notifications are triggered in third-party applications as per the business requirements when a predefined action is performed by the user in the organization.
Business Use Cases of Webhooks

Webhooks
can be used to collaborate with a third-party SMS vendors to send SMS alerts to users linked to a
card
, such as card creators
or
assignees.

You can also connect with your organization's logistics application to notify the delivery of orders when associated cards
are completed.
Add webhook

Navigate to
and select Webhooks under Advanced from the menu.

Click
New Webhook
button.

Enter the details. Refer the below table to know the specification of each field.

Click
Save
.

3. This key/value pair is mainly used to send auth tokens, API key, security tokens, etc.

Custom headers
|
1. Specify the header name and the corresponding value for the webhook.
2. A maximum of 3 headers are allowed. Each header name can be up to 25 characters.
3. This can be used to send cookie, User-Agent, Referrer, etc.

Preview URL
|
Preview the complete webhook URL to be sent to the third-party application. This field cannot be edited.

- Six card related parameters and five custom parameters are allowed per webhook.
Associate Webhooks with Business Rules
-
Navigate to

Create a new business rule or open an existing rule. Learn more about
business rules
.

Fill in the rule details and move to
Criteria & Actions.

Now

click the
icon next to Instant Actions or Schedule Actions and select Webhooks from the dropdown.

Select one or more webhooks from the list of available webhooks or click
Add
Webhook
.

After the webhook is selected, Click
Apply
.

Click Save.
Associate Webhooks with Blueprints

Navigate to

Select an existing orchestration or create a new one.

You will land in Step 1: Create Form.

Navigate to
Step 2: Design Blueprint.

Click on a transition and navigate to
After
section in the right panel.

Now, under
Instant Actions
or
Schedule Actions
, click the

Select one or more webhooks from the list of available webhooks or click
Add
Webhook
.

Click
Apply
.

Save
the Blueprint.
Edit/delete Webhook
To edit a webhook, select
Webhooks
under
Advanced
from the menu
,
click on the webhook you wish to edit. Modify the webhook and click
Save
.
To delete a webhook, hover over the webhook name and click
. Select
Delete
from the popup and confirm your action.
Once deleted, the webhook will no longer be associated with any blueprint.
