To help you get the complete picture of what's happening in the social space, Monitor has these three features :
- Hashtag pop-up
- User pop-up
- Conversation View
Hashtag Pop-up
While using Zoho Social, you may come across a hashtag that is relevant to your business or industry. By clicking on it from your Monitoring dashboard, you will be able to find all the tweets and posts that are made using that hashtag across Twitter. For example, if you're a travel company who spots a hashtag like #wanderlust and wants to see what people are saying about it on Twitter, you can click on the hashtag and you will see a pop-up.
You can find out if that hashtag is popular on a specific channel and what it's being used for. If it's a very popular hashtag, you could use this in posts so that they can be discovered by your target audience.
User Pop-up
If you come across a Page/Profile on Zoho Social that you'd like to know more about, click on their username and you will see more information about them: their social media profile, their tweets, their likes, who their followers are, and who they're following. The User Popup is available only for Twitter. For the other channels, you will directly be taken to their Page/Profile on the respective social network.
For example, if someone from a brand called, Zylker Travels, notices a travel related post, they can click on the username that made the post to learn more about them. From this, they find out that this user travels a lot and could be a potential customer. They could start engaging with this user and spark up a conversation.
View full Conversation
Sometimes, you may have been mentioned in reply to an original message, and you won't be able to get the full context of the tweet unless you know what the original tweet was. Not to worry. You can see the entire thread in all your twitter columns. This threaded view will give you more context for every conversation that you choose to take forward. You can engage right away by liking, retweeting, or replying to the original tweet, or just continue the thread by talking about something fresh and interesting.
To view the entire thread, click View Conversation.
Zoho Social gives you the option to narrow your keyword search results to find tweets that is most relevant to your business or industry. To access the search filters, just click the drop-down menu in the top-right corner of the Monitor column. You can use these filters to find relevant content, so that you see only the tweets that are most relevant to your brand. There are three filters available:
- Filter by content
Filter your search results by the type of content in the tweets: the language they're written in or whether they contain images, videos, or links. You can also exclude retweets or tweets that contain a particular word or phrase from your search results.
- Filter by people
If you want to see what specific people are saying about your brand, use the People tab under Filters to monitor tweets from a particular user.
- Filter by places
Under the Places tab, you can filter for tweets that are made from a particular location. Just search for the desired area and select it from the drop down that appears.
