Say goodbye to a static data model that doesn't get automatically updated with time. Keep your data alive using the all-new Dynamic Filter!
The Dynamic Filtering option in Zoho Tables filters out records intelligently based on "who views it and when it's viewed."
Who views it: if you wish to quickly view all the records in your name, you can do so in a few clicks.
When you view it: To view all the records that are of today's date, you can directly select the filter option - Today. Each day, the records get updated based on the current date.
Set up your dynamic filters just once and see how your information changes on its own
Currently, we have two types of Dynamic Filters in Zoho Tables. They are:
- Collaborator Dynamic Filter
- Date Dynamic Filter

- Collaborator
- Created by
- Modified by
It offers 4 different Filter Conditions as follows:
Let's look into a Collaborator Dynamic Filter use case to understand these filter conditions better.
2. Date Dynamic Filter
The Date Dynamic Filter is available for the following field types:
- Date
- Created Time
- Modified Time
It offers 19 Filter Conditions as follows:
Let's consider the present date as 1 Aug 2022
In the above use case, we used an award-giving ceremony base. The date dynamic filter is applied to the Announcement Date field (Date field type), which shows us records based on the filter condition we choose.
