Creating Templates
To create a template:
- Go to the Templates folder.
- Click Create Template from the list view.
- In the Create Template composer, draft the template.
- Once it's ready, click Create.
Alternatively, you can also:
- Click New Mail from the app menu bar.
- Compose the template in the Mail Composer.
- Click open the Save Draft drop-down menu, or click the drop-down icon next to the Saved @ <time> label.
- Select Save as Template from the menu list.
Refer to this section to learn how to create and apply categories for templates.
Notes:
- All your created templates will be stored in the Templates folder.
- The email's subject will be the name of the saved template.
Editing Templates
To edit a template from the list view:
- In the Templates folder, hover over the template you wish to edit.
- Click the Edit icon.
- Make the necessary changes in the template editor.
- Choose Overwrite to update the template with the most recent changes and click Save as New to keep the template as is and create a new template with the most recent changes.
Alternatively, you can also:
- Right-click the email.
- Select Edit from the menu list.
Tip: Swipe right on the trackpad to edit the template of your choice.
To edit a template from the detail view:
- Open the template you wish to edit.
- Select Edit from the toolbar.
Alternatively, you can also use the Edit icon at the top-right corner of the template detail view.
Deleting Templates
To delete a template from the list view:
- In the Templates folder, hover over the template you wish to delete.
- Click the Delete icon.
Tip: Swipe left on the trackpad to delete the template of your choice.
To delete a template from the detail view:
- Open the template you wish to delete.
- Select Delete from the toolbar.
Alternatively, you can also:
- Click the More icon at the top-right corner of the template detail view.
- Select Delete from the menu list.
Note: This will permanently delete the template. It will no longer be available in the Mail Composer to add to your emails and replies. Creating Template Categories
To efficiently organize the templates you create, you can create categories. To create your first template category:
- In the Templates folder, click Create Template.
- In the template editor, click the Choose Category icon.
- Click Create Category in the pop-up.
- Enter the category name.
- Click Create and Apply. The template you're creating will now be applied with the new category.
To create additional new categories:
- Click the Choose Category icon.
- Type the category name in the search bar.
- Select Create <category_name> from the menu list and the category will be created and automatically applied to the template.
To apply a different category:
- Click the Choose Category icon.
- Select the desired category from the menu list.
Note: You can apply multiple categories to a template. Applying Tags to Templates
You can associate the tags you've created with your email templates for easy identification.
To apply a tag for a template:
- Open the template and select Tag as from the toolbar.
- Apply as many tags as required from the menu list.
Alternatively, you can also:
- Click the More icon at the top-right corner of the template detail view.
- Select Tag as and apply as many tags as required from the menu list.

To filter the templates by specific tags:
- Click the Filter icon in the list view.
- Select Tags from the menu list.
- Select the desired tag with which you wish to filter.
