With email templates, you can save messages that don't change from time to time. You can reuse them anytime you want by changing or adding new information as required. In this article, we'll see how you can create and manage email templates.
To create a template:
Go to the Templates folder.
Click Create Template from the list view.
In the Create Template composer, draft the template.
Once it's ready, click Create.
Alternatively, you can also:
Click New Mail from the app menu bar.
Compose the template in the Mail Composer.
Click the Save Options drop-down menu.
Select Save as Template from the list.
Notes:
All your created templates will be stored in the Templates folder.
The email's subject will be the name of the saved template.
To edit a template from the list view:
In the Templates folder, hover over the template you wish to edit.
Click the Edit icon.
Make the necessary changes in the template editor.
Click the Save Options drop-down menu.
Select Save as Template from the list.
To edit a template from the detail view, select Edit from the toolbar or click the edit icon at the top-right corner of the template.
To delete a template from the list view:
In the Templates folder, hover over the template you wish to delete.
Click the Delete icon.
To delete a template from the detail view:
Select the template you wish to delete.
Select Delete from the toolbar.
Alternatively, you can also:
Click the More icon at the top-right corner of the template detail view.
Select Delete from the menu list.
You can associate the tags you've created with your email templates for easy identification.
To apply a tag for a template:
Open the template and select Tag as from the toolbar.
Apply as many tags as required from the menu list.
Alternatively, you can also:
Click the More icon at the top-right corner of the template detail view.
Select Tag as and apply as many tags as required from the menu list.
To filter the templates by specific tags:
Click the Filter icon in the list view.
Select Tags from the menu list.
Select the desired tag with which you wish to filter.
