How to enable accessibility options in Zoho Writer

Zoho Writer provides a range of accessibility features for individuals with vision, mobility, or learning challenges to improve the usability of Writer's dashboard or published documents. Below, you'll find a list of accessibility controls available in Zoho Writer and steps for using them.

Vision Accessibility Options 

  1. Increased Contrast: Improve overall legibility and definition by increasing the contrast of text, interactive elements, separators, and outlines.
  2. Color Adjustments: Grayscale filters remove all colors from the screen, displaying everything in shades of gray.
  3. Saturation: Adjust the saturation level based on your preference.
  4. Reading Guide: Improve focus by highlighting the text you're reading and masking the rest.
  5. Underline Links: Increase the visibility of links with an underline.
  6. Text Size: Increase the text size to best suit your needs on the web page (50%, 75%, 100%, 125%, or 150%).
  7. Dyslexia Friendly: Enable a font that is easier to read for individuals with dyslexia.
  8. Reading Line: Allow users to enable a helpful reading line on the webpage.

Steps 

How to enable accessibility options in Writer's dashboard 

  1. Open Zoho Writer dashboard and click your profile icon in the top-right.
  2. Click Accessibility Options in the panel and choose your preferred accessibility category.
  3. Enable or modify the desired accessibility control. The changes will be reflected instantly.
Note: You can reset the accessibility options using the Reset to Default option.

How to enable accessibility options in published documents 

  1. Access the document's published URL and click the three dots icon.
  2. Choose Accessibility Options in the dropdown and choose your preferred accessibility category.
  3. Enable or modify the desired accessibility option. The changes will be reflected instantly.
Note: You can reset the accessibility options using the Reset to Default button.
