How to Change Settings and Preferences in Zoho Writer

How to change editor settings and preferences in Zoho Writer

Overview

Zoho Writer provides two levels of customization to give you control over both your personal editing environment and the formatting of individual documents. Editor Preferences define how the editor behaves for you across all documents. These are personal settings stored in your account and follow you regardless of which document you open.

Key options include:
  1. UI Preferences: Change the interface language.
  2. Show Smart Toolbar on Selection
  3. Chat Preferences: Control notifications and sounds.
  4. Visual Cues: Turn on/off hints, insert markers, and Zia suggestions.
  5. Dark Mode / Night Mode in Editor

Steps

  1. Click the Settings icon in the top-right corner of your screen. A drop-down menu will appear.
  2. Click More Settings to bring up the Settings Dialog.

Set default paste format

In the Preferences tab, select the paste format you want under Paste. Click Save. If you select and set a default paste format, you need not go and change it every time a piece of content is pasted.
