How to insert QR and barcodes into a Writer document?
Overview
- Inserting static QR codes and barcodes
- Customizing appearance (size, color, border, style)
- Using merge fields to dynamically generate codes in bulk documents.
Steps (How to Insert & Edit)
1. Insert QR Code

In the Writer toolbar, go to More > Insert > QR Code

In the “Insert QR Code” dialog, choose the QR type (e.g. text, URL, etc.) and click Insert
2. Insert Bar Code
Go to More > Insert > Barcode
In the “Insert Bar Code” dialog:
Select a barcode format from the dropdown list
Enter the data you want to encode
Click Insert
3. Edit QR / Barcode (after inserting)

Click the inserted code (it is treated like an image):
The Panel allows you to Resize the image , Change color or background, Add borders, Adjust alignment / arrangement
