How to align text on both left and right sides on the same line of a document?
Overview
Want text on the same line aligned both to the left and the right—typical in headers, invoices, or title pages? Zoho Writer makes this possible using tab stops. By setting a right-aligned tab stop at a specific position, the cursor jumps directly there when you press Tab, so you can type right-aligned text while keeping other content on the left intact.
Steps
To align text on both left and right sides of a document, do the following steps:
1. Go to More Options > Format > Paragraph > More
2. Now click the Tab option
3. Enter a tab number into the Distance text box and choose the Alignment as Right. This denotes the position where you would like the right hand text to end.
4. Now start typing from the right hand side. To do this, press the Tab key and start typing the first line. To enter the next line, press Enter and then Tab again.
5. Now that you've typed the right side text, you can now start typing the left side text. To do this, simply place the cursor on the left side from where you want to start the text. To move to the next line, press the Down Arrow and then the Left Arrow in the keyboard.
