Adding and managing space templates
To create a new template:
1. Navigate to the space and click Manage in the top-right corner.
2. Click Settings, then go to the Template tab.
3. Click New Template.
4. Enter a name and description for the template.
5. You will be taken to the editor. Create your template.
6. To save a template, navigate to the editor and click Save Draft in the top-right corner.
7. To publish a template from the editor, navigate to the editor and click Publish in the top-right corner.
The saved template will not be visible to your team unless it is published. Your template will be automatically saved and listed in the Templates tab if not published.
To edit a template:
- Navigate to the space and click Manage in the top-right corner.
- Click Settings, then go to the Template tab.
- Click the More options icon (
) next to the template name.
- Click Edit.
To publish an unpublished template:
- Navigate to the space and click Manage in the top-right corner.
- Click Settings, then go to the Template tab.
- Click the More options icon (
- Click Publish.
To unpublish a template:
- Navigate to the space and click Manage in the top-right corner.
- Click Settings, then go to the Template tab.
- Click the More options icon (
- Click Unpublish.
To delete a template:
- Navigate to the space and click Manage in the top-right corner.
- Click Settings, then go to the Template tab.
- Click the More options icon (
- Click Delete.
To move a space template to another space or a manual:
- Navigate to the space and click Manage in the top-right corner.
- Click Settings, then go to the Template tab.
- Click the More options icon (
- Click Move.
- Click All Spaces to select the space or click All Manuals to select the manual.
- Click Move.
To create a duplicate of a space template in another space or a manual:
- Navigate to the space and click Manage in the top-right corner.
- Click Settings, then go to the Template tab.
- Click the More options icon (
- Click Duplicate.
- Click All Spaces to select the space or click All Manuals to select the manual.
- Give a name for the copy of the template, then click Duplicate.
Creating custom templates is available only in our Professional plan.
