This setting allows administrators to customize the signing process for recipients.
The sender can configure the signature input modes that the recipient has to follow while signing the document.
- From your Zoho Sign dashboard, hover over Settings and click Account settings.

- Click Recipient experience from the left navigation pane.

- Configure the signer's-
a. Signature input modes
Choose the input modes for signers to insert their signatures.
Type - The recipient will be prompted to type their signature and choose from the signature options presented by the signature wizard.
Draw - The recipients will be prompted to draw their signature in the signature wizard.
Upload - The recipients will be prompted to upload an image of their signature.
b. Permitted colors for signatures.
If you check the draw input mode, select the permitted colours for signatures when they are drawn- Red, Blue or Black.
c. Image input modes for image fields.
Choose the input modes for signers to add their images into image fields- Upload, Capture.
Lock recipient name
Prevent your recipients from updating their name in fields and signatures by locking the name set by the sender.
Time zone displayed
Sender can configure the time zone to be displayed on the signer's document fields such as the sign date, date, and signature (where the timestamp is displayed) fields. This allows businesses operating globally to maintain seamless operations with international clients. Setting up a common time zone for both the sender and the signer ensures clarity and efficiency in managing documents, while maintaining credibility and relevance.
- Hover over Settings and click Account Settings.

- Click Recipient experience from the left navigation pane.
- Navigate to the Time zone displayed section.

- Select the time zone that should be displayed:
a. Organization time zone: The time zone configured for your organization will be displayed on the documents' date and the signature fields.
b. Recipient time zone: The time zone of the recipient's location that receives your digital signature request will be displayed on the signer's document fields such as the sign date, date, and signature (where the timestamp is displayed) fields. If the recipient does not have a Zoho Sign account, the sender's organization time zone will be applied instead.
c. Set other time zone: A time zone that is selected from the drop-down will be displayed on the documents' date and the signature fields.
Recipient actions
The sender can customize the actions that the signer can perform while signing the document.
- Hover over Settings and click Account settings.

- Click Recipient experience from the left navigation pane.
- Navigate to the Recipient actions section
- Select the actions the signer can perform while signing the document.

Delegate signing
Allow users from your organization to delegate document singing to other users on their behalf.
Signer hint box
Checking this box helps the signer to easily navigate through the document fields while signing the document.
- Hover over Settings and click Account settings.

- From the list of sections, select Recipient experience.
- Navigate to the Signer hint box section.

Automatic field navigation
The sender can customize whether and how the automatic navigation occurs through the fields for the signers at the time of signing.
- Hover over Settings and click Account settings.

- From the list of sections, select Recipient experience.
- Navigate to the Automatic field navigation section.

Signer attachments
The sender can choose who can view the attachments uploaded by the signer during the time of signing.
- Hover over Settings and click Account settings.

- From the list of sections, select Recipient experience.
- Navigate to the Signer attachments section.

Custom landing pages
The sender may enable this option if the recipient needs to be redirected to a specific URL upon completing an action.
- Hover over Settings and click Account settings.

- From the list of sections, select Recipient experience.
- Navigate to the Custom landing pages section.

- Choose the parameters to be appended to the redirection URL.
