Application Details

The Application Details page acts as a central dashboard to manage the key details of your application. It includes two primary tabs: About and Versions, each designed to simplify application management.
Info
Any changes made to this page do not require publishing a new version. These changes will immediately reflect in the Subscriber Organization
Let us explore each tab that allows you to effectively manage your application:

About

This tab serves as a preface, summarizing the foundational attributes of your application. It includes:

 Basic Details

  • Application Name (Mandatory): Represents the unique name of your application.

  • Description: A brief overview of the application's purpose or features.

  • Industry: The industry for which the application is tailored.

  • Sign-up Mode: Specifies the subscriber's onboarding method. You can either allow public sign up or limit access to invite-only subscribers.

  • Status: Indicates whether the application is currently active or inactive.

System Notification Emails

  • Customer Communications (Mandatory): The email address will be used for all customer interactions, such as welcome mails and password resets.

  • Payment Notifications (Mandatory): The email address from which all payment-related notifications, including upgrades, renewals, and subscriptions, are sent.

  • Sign Up Notifications: The email address to which all sign-up-related notifications are delivered.

Versions

This tab logs the publishing history of the application. It allows you to maintain a detailed log of significant updates for traceability. Each version entry contains:

  • Version: A unique identifier for the release based on the Semantic Version.

  • Date: The publication date of the version.

  • Remarks: A summary of significant changes or updates in the version.

  • Status: Displays whether the version is currently active or deprecated.

Key Actions

You can also manage an application and its details right from this page:

Publish an Application: Finalize and release a new version. You can compare the component differences between the old and the latest version before publishing to review your changes.

Activate/Deactivate an Application: Temporarily disable access to subscribers without affecting their existing data. Reactivating restores access with all previous data intact.

Warning
Caution!

Although no data is deleted during deactivation, subscribers will lose access to the application and its data for the duration of the deactivation. It’s recommended to inform subscribers in advance so they can plan accordingly and prevent workflow disruptions.
