Can we make video call in zoho meeting? Please advise.named users or floating licences (concurrent hosts)?
Hello, could you please clarify my understanding of how the meeting pricing works: If I have a company with 50 people, all of which could be hosts but would use the meeting function maybe only 10 times on average during the year, am I to buy 50 full licences? Or, if in practice there will never be more than 5 meetings going on at the same time, is it enough to buy 5 licences? In other words: are the host licences for named users or floating licences? I have tried to download and install the Mac OS X agent and I get the following error: I tried downloading it multiple times, to no avail. I'm running on a fully patched Mac OS X 10.8.4 64 bits, if that helps. Also, I have the following Java versions installed: (system / Apple) java version "1.6.0_51" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_51-b11-456-11M4508) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.51-b01-456, mixed mode) (Oracle Java) java version "1.7.0_25" Java(TM) SE Runtime EnvironmentQuite disappointed by the Zoho Meeting product
I've used Zoho CRM in the past and was happy with the product. I thought I'd try out Zoho Meeting... to be honest, after giving it a go and running a trial meeting, I was quite disappointed with the lack of features. Some of the features lacking: - Can only send out 1 meeting reminder, not a series of them. - Can't modify the meeting email. - Limited country dial in numbers. - Can't auto hide the participants user screen, or the dial in screen, etc. - I still have to download the meeting .exe onCannot dial with skype
When dialing wit skype there is always a + in front of the number which makes it want to dial a eropean call instead of a us call. Skype will not dial this as the correct numberLinks in meeting invite emails not working in GMail web interface
When a GMail user opens a Zoho Meeting invite email in the GMail web interface the links in the email don't work (not clickable) and there is a strange looking gray background in the email body. If the GMail user forwards the same email to their same GMail account and opens the forwarded email, then the forwarded email works properly and does not have the gray background. We've tested with Yahoo and Hotmail web interfaces and they do not have this problem. Native email clients also work fine.Announcement when attendee joins or leaves call

If you are going to charge for Meeting at the existing rates, then you really need to make a priority of adding significant features such as control of what part of the screen - or which monitor to share. The application is extremely limited without this feature if I am to use it for Education Sessions. I really love the Zoho suite of applications, but a few need significant upgrade, such as meeting. Shuts down upon starting a session for remote support, wont stay up, it quickly post the session ID but then it errors out and restarted the webpage which half is blank. Even tried paying for service, which now I am trying to get refund because it doesn't work with one of the biggest used browsers. Hi, there, i have no audio in the meeting. There is no sound coming from the presentation. Even when i watch the demo video there is no sound. At my volume panel, there is no signal at all. We did a test as we are new to Zoho.... The presenter had a problem getting in with VOIP, the attendee did not. The presenter then dialed in and both parties could hear each other, but the quality was severely lacking. The presenter was using external mic and attendee using built-in laptop mic. What could be cause and possible correction to the poor audio quality? Suggestions needed right away or we'll have to find another provider for this afternoon. I haven't used Zoho Meeting very much where I turn a partipant into a presenter. But, several times when I, have we get an offset of the presenters cursor on my screen and perhaps others (vertical in the last instance). This happens when I make another user the presenter and they are using the "Active X" viewer. I hesitate to use the "make presenter" function much because of this. Is there a more trouble free way of sharing an invitee's desktop? Or some adjustment that can be made to preventAdding Invitees to an Event

I am considering Zoho meeting as a virtual meeting solution for our online school. We are strongly considering giving all of our students Chrome Netbooks next year. Our current virtual meeting solution, Blackboard Collaborate (formerly Elluminate) is a Java application that is not supported by Chrome OS. I switched from Go to Meeting to Zoho and really like it. The only downside I see so far is that you do not offer VOIP. This is really nice feature that lets me use a headset while I demo software.
