Problem with Date/Time in saving meeting in Outlook
Support, when i save a meeting to outlook the invitation time is, it appears, the server time NOT "my settings" time zone. This is causing confusion with prospects schedules. I've been testing out Assist for providing software installation and configuration. Trying to install on a Windows 7 machine I lost control as soon as the UAC box appeared asking for installation permission. Reading other posts it seems that the host can't see or act on this box and loses control. I found it took around 5-10 mins to get control back and had to provide manual instructions over the phone. I have tried to use Zoho Show to do a web presentation of a Powerpoint presentation on my Desktop to a participant. Unfortunately when I click on the presentation to move from slide to slide, the participant tells me that the slide takes quite a bit of time to change on their end...maybe 10 to 15 seconds after I have clicked to change the slide. We are both on Cable modem (not DSL). I'm on Firefox using XP Pro. I've noted that in the past others have experienced this same slowness. Will this be improved?User Access Control Problems
Hello, just finished a remote assistance meeting to a Vista 32bit install with Symantec Client Security and Sygate firewall. Unfortunately any screens that required UAC authorization would not work. I disabled UAC but this still did not help. Basically I was trying to install a printer and couldn't, instead had to instruct the user on where to click.My side not updating
Hi, Using Assist and my screen is not updating - it flicks every 10seconds (ish). I can perform actions on the remote PC but my screen does not update these changes. Been happening for a few days and can't use the system at the moment. I'm using the desktop plugin and have tried to control from 2 different PC's. Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling software. I have downloaded and installed the desktop shortcut multiple times on my WIN7 Professional notebook computer. The shortcut does NOT show up on my desktop and I cannot find where the code is being installed on my computer so I can create a shortcut manually. Chat goes to "Creating Chat Interface" and freezes during a meeting especially if one side or the other minimizes. Either side can activate their chat and attempt to send but it doesn't go anywhere. Chat log shows participants 'leaving' / 'entering' when neither side has done anything. It usually takes several stop/restart/join efforts to get chat to operate if at all. Greetings - I have not been able to reboot a client computer into Safe Mode using Remote Assistance. The session ends after I tell the client machine to Restart. Is it possible to boot a client computer into Safe Mode? If so, how is this done? Also, is it possible to copy to and from the participants desktops? Any help appreciated. I'm using IE8 / Vista 32 connecting to an IE8 / Vista 64 and having a problem. Trying to install an HP printer. Download the file from HP to the desktop. Double click the file and nothing happens on my side. Client sees the Windows Security box asking to run the file but I never see it and am locked out of remote control until it is answered. Hello, I used Zoho meeting on sat 6/26. I was able to share my desktop and the meeting went very well. Suggestion: Currently, when setting up a meeting / Creating a meeting there is the option set the date and time however, there is no end time option.
