Unable to remote control
I set up a session to test Zoho Assist, but could remote control the session. I could see it but not control it. I've got my firewall locked down pretty tight, so is it using some ports I need to open up?Does everyone hear the announcement of new arrivals in Zoho Meeting?

Good Morning! I have a couple of questions for guys to try to answer please. Question #1 I have been using ZoHo Meeting for about a month now (and love it) yet still am confused on how exactly to install the client the correct way. I just set up a new OS install and went to ZoHo's website to start a remote session. After downloading, installing, and opening the desktop plugin; I only get prompted to enter the session key - nothing else. I also do not have a desktop icon. I'm using IE8 / Vista 32 connecting to an IE8 / Vista 64 and having a problem. Trying to install an HP printer. Download the file from HP to the desktop. Double click the file and nothing happens on my side. Client sees the Windows Security box asking to run the file but I never see it and am locked out of remote control until it is answered. Hello, I used Zoho meeting on sat 6/26. I was able to share my desktop and the meeting went very well. Suggestion: Currently, when setting up a meeting / Creating a meeting there is the option set the date and time however, there is no end time option. Every time I try to set up a meeting it seems I have to jump through hoops to get the connection made. I have embedded the code into my website at http://sp-tutorials.homestead.com/RemoteAccess.html I set up a remote meeting and start the meeting. I get a blue screen that says I am waiting for the other person. I give the other person the id number. They enter it and it takes them to a page with the id number and a link to "join session". When they click the link either nothing happens or they getHide Attendee Chat from other Attendees?!
What settings do I need to change to not let other attendees see questions/chat but only allow the Presenter to see the Chat? Another question: is the meeting ID static. That is, if I want to set up a Meeting that goes on indefinetly can I publish the Meeting ID on my website and anyone can use the ID to join the meeting when it has started? The way I use Web Conferencing is that I publish 3 weekly meetings and want to just set up one meeting ID and publish it. Hello, I'm currently evaluating Zoho Assist and have tried a remote assist session with myself on another computer. It has worked really well so far. Is there a way to schedule a remote assist session so that no end user interaction is required? I have a client who doesn't have time to get some maintenance done on their computers during the day. I tried to host a meeting using Zoho Meeting for the first time. I have used it in the past to allow Zoho to remotely view and control my computer to diagnose issues with other Zoho modules. When I tried to host the meeting ti would let both me and the other user log on. But as soon as I tried to share my screen it gave me an error message that it was unable to share my screen and I needed to re-boot my PC and try again. I did that and tried to establish the meeting again, but I got the same message.Pay as you go options
Have you folks considered a Pay as you go or pay per use pricing option for Meeting? There's only occasional times that my company needs desktop sharing or multi-person meetings and even the minimum subscription is not worth it for us--a start-up company. FreeConference and a few others have one-time payment options for the extra features like share desktop and meeting recording options. Hi, just tried to test the free remote assistance service to provide support to a friend remotely. This friend garbled his email settings, which was the reason for this remote session. Before this I even thought about purchasing the meeting account to use it professionally at work and considered it a good test before using the remote assistance software for treating real customers. Session initiation worked without problems, but as the friend has no access to his email I could not use the firstwhen I started a meetting ,I got "Download Java for your desktop computer now!"

When my client enters the remote assistance meeting, a window pops up that says "You are now sharing your desktop, allow technician to control my PC" , then the Chat window opens right on top of this window. The chat window hides the other window so my client doesn't know he is suppose to click "ok" on that window. Can you make the chat window open off to the side so it doesn't cover the other window?
