Is there no way to make things like under Calls "Call Duration" or "Call Start Time" or under Potentials "Close Date" not mandatory? These fields are useless for my organization and waste time but the box is grayed out to not make them mandatory. It'sI am not the CEO.
I signed up for the basic Zoho and it lists me as CEO. Apparently others have this same issue. If we are not allowed to change the "role" then perhaps the default should be more generic. A former employee created a list for some campaigns. When I look at "All Lists" under Contacts that list "Newsletter Subscribers" is not included. The only place I can see it is after I click "Recipients" when creating a new campaign. , but it is not listed under Contact Lists. 1) How do I make me the owner/creator of that list since the original creator no longer works for me? 2) How do I add it to the listing of lists under Contacts? 3) How do I update the list with new subscribers? Ran into something pretty perplexing that I haven't been able to find solutions for online. I set up a workflow that triggers when a field is updated to a certain value. After futile hours of trying to debug this, I realized this inexplicable thing. The workflow actually does trigger properly when I manually update the field to the required value. When the field is updated to the exact same value by the custom function I wrote (using zoho.crm.updateRecord()), the workflow doesn't trigger! I'm wonderingBetter UI for proactive chat notifications needed!
