Incoming Webhooks

The Incoming Webhook feature has been introduced to minimize redundant manual effort for our Zoho Books users. With this method, you can bring information from a third-party service or an API request to Zoho Books on occurance of an event.

Consider Zylker, a company that manufactures furniture. When an order is placed, the sales team shares the order details in the production team’s group. The message has a 'Finish' button, which the production manager can click once the batch is produced. On clicking the button, an incoming webhook is triggered and an invoice is created automatically in Zoho Books.

You can create multiple incoming webhooks based on the functions you prefer to execute in Zoho Books.

What's New

UPC, EAN and ISBN Barcode Scanning

You can now scan item bar codes in Zoho Books not just using SKUs(Stock keeping Units) but also using the UPC (Universal Product Code), EAN (International Article Number), or ISBN (International Standard Book Number) fields for organisations with the Zoho Inventory add-on.

For this, all you have to do is:
Go to Settings > Items.
Select the field from the Select items when barcodes are scanned using dropdown.

Zoho Books and KeyPay Integration

We have some exciting news for our Australian Users. You can now integrate your Zoho Books account with KeyPay, a cloud-based workforce management and payroll platform. With this integration you can seamlessly account for all your payroll activities, like manual journaling and reporting.
