Accounting on the Go Series-6: Streamlined Contact Management in Zoho Books mobile app

Welcome back to the 'Accounting On-the-Go' series. Today, we look into effective contact management – a cornerstone of smooth communication and collaboration. Zoho Books offers two powerful features to make this process seamless.

Scanning Business Cards: At networking events, conferences, or meetings, you often collect business cards from potential clients or partners. With Zoho Books, you can simplify this process by scanning these cards directly into the app. For instance, imagine meeting a new prospect interested in your services. You can quickly scan their card using Zoho Books, save their contact information, and promptly send out the estimate they need.  This not only saves you valuable time but also ensures a swift response to potential clients.

Supported OS: iOS

Importing Contacts: Often, your contacts may come from various sources, including your phone's contact list or other apps. Zoho Books offers the option to import these contacts directly, eliminating the need for manual entry. Once you've completed the import, you can swiftly create transactions for these customers.This feature is particularly handy when you need to consolidate your contact list or keep it synchronised across platforms.

Supported OS: Android, iOS

How it works in Zoho Books iOS app:

     Open the Zoho Books iOS app
     Navigate to Customers
     Click on the "+" icon to add a new contact
     Click on “Import” on top-right
     Select "Scan Business Card” and click “Save” to add it in Books
     Alternatively, select, “Import from Phone Contacts” and choose the contact you wish to add and click "Save" to add it to Zoho Books
How it works in Zoho Books Android app:

     Open the Zoho Books Android app
     Navigate to Sales >> Customers
     Click on the "+" icon to add a new contact
     Click on the “Contacts” icon on top-right
     Choose the contact you wish to add and click "Save" to add it to Zoho Books.
