The goal of some of our landing pages is to get a person to agree to take a demo of our software. We're using Zoho Forms on the page and that integration works well. They give us their info, it goes into CRM, they get an email telling them we'll be in touch, and our sales team follows up by phone.
However, we want to catch traffic that doesn't take the demo right away by offering them a deal. Popups work for this in general, but not Zoho popups.
1) They're only designed to either add the person to a list or to send them somewhere. I could add them to a list, but I don't really want to mail them. I want to contact them right away to set up the demo since that's what they're asking for. The extra layer forcing them to opt into a list makes them bail. I understand Forms could be a workaround for this, but they're not pretty and can't be configured to display on exit. I also don't want to use the redirect method because they've already ignored one form.
2) It links the first and last name together. Apparently, that means when it imports into other Zoho Apps, it puts the first name in the first name field and then both the first and last name in the last name field.
3) You can only have two fields at most- name and email. I love the simplicity of that, but I want to capture phone numbers too.
Are there current workarounds for these issues or plans from Zoho to make these updates?
