Are Sales SDR/BDR email campaigns possible?

I am trying to see if I can use Zoho Campaigns to craft a very simple workflow/campaign that would be useful for my Sales Development Reps (SDRs). Something like send a few emails over a few days, then create a task for a call, then another email, etc.

First challenge - I can't seem to create very simple emails that would just be simple text, something like a person would send to another person. I can't find a way that gets rid of the email header and footer, for example.

Second challenge - say I have 100 leads to target. If I add 10 to a campaign list that then starts the sequence, and tomorrow I add 10 more new to that list, will each "batch" be offset and process on their own timeline from the time they were added to that campaign list?

There are simple dedicated tools out there that do this well with gmail, like MixMax, Outreach, etc. So I am trying to see if this can be a replacement for those in the sales cycle.
