We are trying to get our automations to pick up a CRM Contact record when a field is set to a specific value.
We are setting that field using a WORKFLOW that triggers a field update during contact creation during the lead conversion process.
It seems that the automation does not see this as an update as the CRM Workflow that updates the field is triggered by the create contact
Is there any way to get the automation to pick the contact up when the field is set during a CRM Contact creation workflow?
The only other way we can see to do it is to get our team to manually intervene and update a field each time but surely there is a better way.
Here is what we are doing:
On our lead form our customers choose a value stating what type of organisation they are
We have a workflow in our CRM that fires when a contact is created that takes the value they have chosen (and a few other values) and works out what automation we want to put them in and sets a CRM Contact field to the relevant value.
