How to Track Inventory Usage from Zoho FSM to Zoho Inventory?
Hi everyone,
We’re currently working on integrating Zoho FSM with Zoho Inventory, and we’ve encountered a challenge we’re hoping the community can help us understand better.
Here’s the context:
When we create a Work Order in Zoho FSM that involves parts or products (e.g., spare parts, tools), those items are linked from Zoho Inventory. However, we’ve noticed that creating a Work Order does not automatically reduce the physical inventory count in Zoho Inventory, even though the parts are technically being “allocated” or “used” for the job.
Our question is:
How can we ensure that when a Work Order is created in FSM, the quantity of the used part is automatically reduced in Zoho Inventory’s physical stock (or reserved, committed, etc.)?
If anyone here has implemented something similar or knows how to link inventory usage directly from FSM to reflect in Zoho Inventory, your help would be greatly appreciated!
