Big issue with automatic numbering for deals records

Big issue with automatic numbering for deals records

Hi There,

I am facing a big mix up issue due to automatic numbering behaviour for Deals records :

I have defined a field named "Reference" into Deals custom field  with automatic numbering set on (convenient for collaboration between people and api integration)

Bur I have just noticed that the automatic increment is not based on all deals of the account but for deals inside each Pipeline. This means that after moving a Deal from a pipeline to another pipeline, some delas have the same Reference number (not the purpose of the setting i guess)

Could you please check this and confirm that all deals (independantly of the pipeline orignally assigned) must have all different numbering in case of automatic numbering !?
