Bring Products SubForm from Quote to Deals
Hey team, as there is a big issue with Quotes Layouts I've found, I am trying to have a work around for my request.
The need: As I have different Business Unit (services & products) I need to have a different quote layout or feature to estimate the total of the deal.
What I've tried: To set a different Quotes Layout for each type of service or product with those custom fields and values. But the BUG HERE is that in the Products SubForm of the Quotes, if I filter the products with my own criteria (product category) it replicates into the other quote layouts. So I cannot use different Quote Layouts. Also I would like to force the Quote Layout according to a related Deal custom Field (Business Unit) and it's not possible either.
What I am trying to find as solution: Is it possible to re-create the Quotes-Products subform into Deals Layout? so the user can choose products filtered by the same Deal Business Unit Type? I 've done that, but now i need to bring the price for each product and I am stuck as there is no way to ask the Products.Price In a subform that is not in Quotes.
