It is somewhat confusing to have CRM Campaigns and Zoho Campaigns and that they really are not well connected.
First of all, Zoho Campaigns needs to be renamed. It will never be used outside of CRMPlus or One. It is not a real campaign tool in the sense of measuring a marketing campaign. It is email marketing! Name it ZMail Marketing or something zippy like that.
Next, If I create a CRM Campaign, an option should be to do email marketing, which automatically links the CRM Campaign recipients to a campaign of the same name in ZMail. This will eliminate the need for the Member status process, or creating extra lists in ZMail and syncing those contacts. Now I can go into ZMail and create an email marketing component of the campaign. Since the relationships were already created, the whole process of syncing lists and setting up member status goes away.
Third, once I have verified a domain, spf, dkim in Zmail, those settings should work for ALL email related activities. This will force Zmail to have some additional settings that are really only needed for Zoho Mail, but not a big deal. The reverse would also be true. If I configure Zoho Mail, those should be the exact same settings for ZMail. Once I integrate them on the backend, they should be looking at a single setting.
