Categories vs. Collections

Categories vs. Collections

We have Products that span multiple Categories. Product 1 can be in Category A, Category B, and Category E. Not all of the Categories but sometimes more than one. If we set up the Products with Tags we can bypass the Category functionality and have Collections of Tags and add them to their own pages but then we loose the visitor filter by Alphabet and Price.

1. Are there any plans to for Zoho Commerce to add multi Category membership to Products?

2. Is there a way to add the visitor filter functionality (Most Popular, Most Recent, Price: Hight to Low, etc. ) to any page?

3. Any one else have this issue and have you over come it? We are selling parts for industrial equipment and the logical search would be for the model and then see of listing of parts for that model - BUT some of our parts are compatible with multiple models. The parts only have one part number each.

Any ideas to help the brain storming would be appreciated! :-)
